Dan Hendrickson

My name is Dan Hendrickson. My pen name used to be Henry Rifle. I tend to write short, comedic, semi-philosophical poems. Some people seem to like them. Richard Brautigan is one of my heroes. James Thurber is another. I have my MFA from Hamline University in St. Paul. Comedy and rock and roll keep me going. And coffee. I really, really like coffee.

I’ve written two books I’m proud of (Dark Glasses and Comedy Album) and a few more I’m not exactly ashamed of (not completely). Check them out. You could probably do a lot worse.
