Paul Aljabar

Paul Aljabar taught Mathematics, Computer Programming and Computer Graphics in high schools and universities from the late 1980s onwards. He has carried out research on the use of computational methods and algorithms for interpreting and extracting information from medical images and clinical data since 2002. He taught undergraduates and postgraduates at Imperial College London and King's College London. The course on Computer Programming that he developed at King's College with Andrew King led to the book on MATLAB Programming for Biomedical Engineers and Scientists. This book presents a context-led and interactive course on programming for students and researchers in the field. Paul now works for a software company that uses machine learning technology to build tools that assist clinicians, radiologists and oncologists in diagnosing disease and planning treatment.
