Nicole Tolman

Nicole Toma-Tolman aspired to be an author since 3rd grade, when she wrote and illustrated her first chapter book called The Heroic Magical Monster, followed by several others through her early years. Soon after that, she discovered the thrill of being published (in school and local papers, and a scholastic composition manual) and further studied English and Creative Writing in college. Soon after, she began writing novels and, once upon a time, questions and short informational articles for quizzclub.com. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, the Association of Writers & Writing Programs, and the Fox Valley Writer’s Group. She regularly attends writers’ conferences and events, eager to continue learning more about her coveted occupation.

When she’s not writing, she can be found doing charity work, taking care of her husband and three kiddos, baking (she is dangerous with a spatula, but hardly ever sets off the smoke detectors anymore), and playing the piano (badly). And, of course, she’s always working on her next novel!
