Kim VanOver

Kim VanOver was born in the Appalachian region of eastern Kentucky, but was raised in Florida where he graduated high school. He served a 4-year stint in U.S. Army where he served as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division (this was while the Screaming Eagles were still on jump status). He also spent two years at Ft. Richardson Alaska in the regular infantry. After leaving the service he traveled extensively across the United States, living for a time in Colorado and Hawaii, before settling in Southern California. He then continued his education, majoring in journalism. While working as a newspaper reporter, VanOver returned to his first love, science-fiction and fantasy. ElfinLore is his fifth novel.
