David Miner

David L. Miner is first a Conservative. Spiritually, he believes in the Bible -- ALL of the Bible. Politically, he believes in the Constitution - ALL of the Constitution. Any time he speaks or writes, you will see the the influences of both of those perspectives.

Second, Mr. Miner does not have opinions, he has positions. This doesn't mean he is always right, although he strives to be. Nor does it mean he is not open to other or to new ideas. One cannot strive to be accurate unless one is open to new ideas. But when he speaks or writes on an issue, he is offering insight after extensive research and consideration. And he will not speak on an issue until after he has spent that time researching and considering the issue. Otherwise, he will preface his words with, "This is my current opinion on the matter, and is subject to further study."

Third, he does like to talk. He thinks in paragraphs where most people think in words. He tends to give more details when he talks than some think is necessary, although he tries to not be wordy. Really, he does. And this comes directly from point number two above. He believes that few people have the time in today's world to research and consider and, therefore, are restricted to opinions. So the teacher inside of him drives him to help people move from opinion to position, although he works hard at being persuasive and not being pedantic.

This is reflected in all his writings, both fiction and non-fiction.
