Who am I?
Anybody who enters a blog wants to know who is the responsible for it. Then, for you to know, I am a man of multiple facets (like anybody else), who wants to be known as E. R. Ramdohr.
Before dedicating myself to writing I was an Architect and managed my own constructing company. I was successful. When I had all my children raised up and educated, I figured out there could be still 30 years in front of me. So I decided to split my lifetime in two periods. Thus, I made the big step and started my Second Life. I formally gave birth to my second profession.
I was born in Santiago de Chile a lot of years ago (1952). My family, as you may have noticed, has German roots, something that has marked my physiognomy and my spirit ever since. I attended a German school and was lucky to dominate Spanish, German and English.
As a youngster I got addicted to Field Hockey, sport that I practiced until I was dropped out for being too old, I was 50.
As a slave of my time I studied a profession, I graduated, I got married and we founded together with my wife our own business. From that happy day on she always managed finance and the bank accounts.
As we were very efficient and productive, we developed the company and, in parallel, we gave birth to five wonderful children. Now they are all professionals and have already given us six, again wonderful, grandchildren.
Although I studied Architecture, a science and art that fascinated me, I always knew I had some natural gift for writing that struggled to emerge.
As many colleagues, I discovered soon that writing novels was a captivating activity, but selling books and/or achieving some popularity was quite a different thing, really a giant’s task.
But my enthusiasm, nevertheless, doesn’t know of defeats, don’t even think so. Last year I attended a course at the University and received my diploma with the highest score. I’m not a rookie anymore.
All my books are disposable at Amazon in both, paper and electronic versions.
