Tamar Dashevsky, Mother of three, Social Worker and Gerontologist promoting cultural change for the third age.

Since 2011, Tamar has been promoting the “person-centered” approach in different institutions for the third age (nursing homes, adult day care centers, assisted living residences and elsewhere), engaging residents and staff in joint learning and activities to create a growing supportive community within each institution.

For three years, Tamar has been gathering practical, accessible content from her work in many different departments for mentally frail elders and in accompanying families supporting Alzheimer’s patients.
