Herbert Arlindo Trebien

Herbert Arlindo Trebien was born in Palmitos-SC (1963), married Idavir de Freitas Colli Trebien (1993) in Ribeirão Preto-SP and is the father of Heitor Augusto Colli Trebien (1994) and Larissa Colli Trebien (1995).

He completed her first grade education at the "NOSSA SENHORA DA SALETE" Basic School in Maravilha-SC (1977) and the second grade teaching at the Bom Pastor College in Chapecó-SC (1980). Graduated in Pharmacy at UFSC - Florianópolis-SC (1983), Specialization in Medicinal Plants at UFMT - Cuiabá-MT (1985), and concluded Master's degree (1987-1991) and PhD (1997-2001) in Pharmacology at FMRP-USP - Ribeirão Preto-SP.

He worked as a Professor at FAMECA - Catanduva-SP (1990-1991), FAMEMA - Marília-SP (1991-93), and since 1993 is Professor of Pharmacology at UFPR - Curitiba-PR. In UFPR, he coordinates the University Extension Project RISCOS DA AUTOMEDICAÇÃO (2003 - 2013, registration PROEC 055/90), continuing as AUTOMEDICAÇÃO: RISCOS E BENEFÍCIOS from 2014 (registration PROEC 864/14) to date.
