Lynzie’s first book was a guide directed to those new to meditation. In the process of writing that first book, she discovered a new direction for her life. She became more acutely aware of the higher power that had been directing her life right from the beginning. Her meditation practice made her feel safe enough to delve more deeply into past trauma and draw from it meaning and purpose for her present life. The result of that self-exploration is her second book, Outside In: A story of transcendence from pain to power.
This book is more than a memoir. In it, Lynzie explores her early years together with her mother, Joyce Baxter, her co-author. They find joy in offering this book to others in the process of discovering their life to be a journey of self-acceptance rather than one of self-doubt. They welcome readers who see life as an unfolding – not as a series of mistakes to be avoided and ashamed of but lessons to be learned – for themselves and others they meet along the journey.
