Marilyn Cornelius

An Integrated Approach to Behavior Change:

Dr. Marilyn Cornelius is a coach, facilitator, speaker, author, and teacher. She is founder of the multinational company, Alchemus Prime. Through coaching and facilitation, she focuses on creating safe spaces for inspiring change in habits around empowerment through self-love, trauma release, leadership, wellness, and creativity. Integrating tools from behavioral sciences, design thinking, biomimicry, and meditation, Marilyn works on various challenges, including behavioral approaches to diabetes management and stress reduction, personal and professional development for women, trauma pattern analysis, climate change adaptation for cities and nations, behavioral wellness for a national ministry of health, and design thinking for teachers and youth.

Interdisciplinary Teaching and Writing:

Marilyn is the author of several peer-reviewed articles and 42 popular books, spanning self-love, positivity, trauma, leadership, wellness, and climate change. She teaches online courses on self-love, trauma pattern recognition, and belonging based on her books, and hosts a daily video show on social media called Mornings with Marilyn, focusing on personal and planetary wellness inspired by her work, travels, and inspirations. Marilyn holds a PhD in behavioral sciences and climate change from Stanford University’s Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources (E-IPER). She also holds a BSc in business and environmental resource management and an Associate of Arts degree in graphic design. She has taken coursework in cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, biomimicry for social innovation, and meditation, including guided visualization, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), transcendental meditation (TM), and Vipassana. Marilyn has been a Reiki Master since 2009, and has served as a Heartfulness Meditation Trainer. She has served as Chief of Staff and Coach at UN Women USA - San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.
