C. Norvell

Good day one and all. My name is C. Norvell and I'm now a published writer.

"Wait, don't you mean published author?"

No, for like the great Mickey Spillane, I prefer to be called a writer. It's a matter of semantics I suppose...either that or I figure that unless or until this becomes how one makes a living, then you can't really call yourself an "author" and expect to be taken very seriously, can you?

My first two books, "A Real Gone Man" and "Life Is A Four Letter Word" are collections of writings from 2003-2017 - mostly poetry and prose vignettes. Imagine what would happen if you meshed Word files of Henry Rollins' "Eye Scream" and Charles Bukowski's "War All The Time" and you'll have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing. A third volume containing more short stories and journalistic accounts should be coming along soon, as well as a hardboiled detective novella about a man named Stark.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing it.
