Joe Russo

In 2015, Joe Russo and his wife Kait quit their jobs, sold their house, and got rid of most of their possessions in order to live their dream: traveling full time and working for themselves. Joe and Kait now live a minimalist life on the road and share their journey with the world through their popular YouTube channel, blog, and a series of books.

Joe's first book, Take Risks, explores the Russo's journey to turn their dream of full-time travel into a reality, and offers insights and advice for others who want to live life on their own terms. His second book, Tales From the Open Road, chronicles the ups and downs of the couple's first full year living in an RV and how they turned their passion into a new career. Future books in the series will continue to follow the Russo's life on the road and offer inspiration for readers to live the life they want.

Before becoming a full-time traveler, Joe Russo lived and worked in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles where he grew up. He began his eclectic career in video game design, transitioned to TV production, and spent 10 years in Product Development before deciding to leave it all behind and pursue a life of adventure.

In the years since Joe and Kait "retired" from their former careers, they launched their own travel brand (We're the Russos) and produce weekly videos and articles about their nomadic life. By sharing their story, Joe and Kait have helped many people find their own road to a life of personal fulfillment and financial independence.
