Anna was born in Montreal and seems to enjoy moving back and forth between there and Toronto. She’s been a reporter, a college lecturer and a horticultural advisor, as well as other things too numerous to mention/best forgotten. She was nominated for the US Katherine Paterson YA prize and for Canada’s Arthur Ellis Award in the unpublished category. THE SUSPENSION BRIDGE (2024), a mixed genre literary mystery tinged with dark humour, has been called "a profound meditation on humanity and faith in a story of a small town with big dreams" (Kirkus Reviews). Her well-received previous novels include APRIL ON PARIS STREET, AFTER THE WINTER and THE AU PAIR, described as an "impressive" (Kirkus Reviews) cross between Agatha Christie and Daphne du Maurier, with a pinch of Louise Penny thrown in.
