Joel Thomas Katz

Joel Katz’s poems have appeared in various literary journals, and his chapbook "Away" was published by Mayapple Press in 2008. He is a member of the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) and Bay Area Literary Translators Working Group (BALTWG). With Robert Perry, Joel has translated poems by the contemporary Dutch poets Ingmar Heytze and Saskia Stehouwer in the bilingual book "iets anders | something else" (2017) as well as a newly published translation of ecopoetry by Saskia Stehouwer "Vrije uitloop | Free range" (2019), both from Dutch Poet Press (dutchpoetpress.com).
