Alan David Pritchard is an award-winning novelist, playwright, poet, and screenwriter whose work has received international recognition across literature and film.

His novel The Pebble Champion has earned numerous accolades, including the B.R.A.G. Medallion (USA), the Wishing Shelf Book Awards Finalist Award (UK), and Best Book at the Miracle Makers International Film and Writers' Festival (USA). The novel has also received widespread critical acclaim from reviewers and readers alike for its sensitive exploration of grief, identity, resilience, and hope.

His screenplay adaptation of The Pebble Champion has achieved significant international success, winning Best Screenplay at the Chicago Feedback Film Festival, Best UK Screenplay at the Cambridge Script Awards, and the Silver Remi Award for Best Adapted Screenplay at WorldFest-Houston.
