Taylor Barnes

Taylor Barnes is a California visual artist, journalist, designer and teacher. She lives in Venice Beach where the eclectic culture and her art colleagues inspired her to create an online publication, 3.1 Venice Magazine. Through her interviews and chronicling the effects of gentrification upon the art community, she has been able to speak with a wide swath of people, locally and abroad, and represent their personal stories.

Will Keane is an Irish musician, composer, and lay philosopher. After having traveled the world in his position as an engineer and IT executive for a large corporation, Keane retired to the quiet Irish countryside. In this new life, he is playing and composing music, as well as pondering and researching his passion for politics.

Together, Barnes and Keane blend their European and American perspectives, as well as their urban and rural viewpoints, into their first of what they hope will be a series of novels commenting on current politics through a fictional lens.
