I whole-heartedly believe in creativity. And as a writer, I pursue creativity in everything that I do. I believe in shaping the future with excellence, integrity, and ingenuity. That means writing new stories for new audiences. I want to push the envelope and provide voices for those who have spent too long silent.
Research is my second love. In school, I minored in early modern British history, so I'm no stranger to digging around in the past. Most of my stories are sci-fi or suspense, but my early works delved into 18th century history with obscure facts and tidbits of information. Side note, is it too early to have juvenilia? My favorite books growing up transported me to new places and made me ask questions, both about myself and the world. I hope to give my readers the same experience.
When I'm not writing, I love to travel with my husband to new places for inspiration. Curiosity shops, oddball museums, and French style bistros are my haven. If liquor fueled Hemingway, then croissants fuel me. On any given day, I spend most of my time plotting ways to use the leftovers in my fridge or how to make my next story make sense.
