Dr. Bruce A. Smith

Bruce Smith has spent the past 34 years serving full-time in international Christian ministry. He served as a pilot, program manager, and in various executive positions with Mission Aviation Fellowship from 1985-1999. Since February 2000 he has been President and CEO of Wycliffe Associates, a ministry supporting Bible translation in minority languages worldwide. He has traveled to more than 100 countries during the course of these years, listening and learning from the local people to serve them well. His vision is a Bible in every language by 2025, and his mission to accomplish this vision is by involving people in the advancement of Bible translation. Last year more than 7000 people worldwide partnered in advancing Bible translation with Wycliffe Associates.
