Giorgos Kitis

I am the author of two books, "Something Is Missing ..." and "Marketing Breakfast: Understand & Apply" which is an introduction to Marketing.

I was born the summer of 1979 in Nicosia, where I spent my childhood and teenage years. When I finished my army service as a sergeant in the «Military Police», I studied «Communications» in Cyprus and at the same time obtained a diploma in «Banking & Finance». I continued my studies in London where I got a Master’s Degree in «Media & Communications Management», and some years later I became a «Chartered Marketer». I have also attended numerous seminars about Marketing, Management and Writing. As a professional, I’ve worked in the magazine publishing industry, in sales, in marketing and for the past nine years I have worked as a «Brand Manager» for the largest alcoholic beverages company in Cyprus. Today I am General Manager at my own business (Marketing LAB), a marketing centre which is providing marketing services and organising seminars.

What else do I like? I like reading books but also I like writing. I like riding my motorcycle, I love the sea but I also enjoy cold winter nights at home with my girlfriend with a glass of fine whisky. But my greatest love is traveling, and although I have travelled a lot I will be always seeking more.

Είμαι συγγραφέας δύο βιβλίων, του λογοτεχνικού «Κάτι Λείπει…» και του «Marketing Breakfast: Κατανόησε & Εφάρμοσε» το οποίο αποτελεί μια εισαγωγή στο Marketing.

Γεννήθηκα το καλοκαίρι του 1979 στη Λευκωσία, όπου έζησα τα παιδικά και εφηβικά μου χρόνια. Αφού εκπλήρωσα τις στρατιωτικές μου υποχρεώσεις στη «Στρατονομία» ως λοχίας, σπούδασα «Communications» στην Κύπρο ενώ παράλληλα απόκτησα και δίπλωμά στο «Banking & Finance». Συνέχισα τις σπουδές μου στο Λονδίνο όπου πήρα μεταπτυχιακό στον κλάδο «Media & Communications Management» και μερικά χρόνια αργότερα απόκτησα τον τίτλο του «Chartered Marketer». Παράλληλα έχω παρακολουθήσει πολλά εκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια για θέματα marketing, management, και συγγραφή. Επαγγελματικά ασχολήθηκα με τις εκδόσεις περιοδικών, τις πωλήσεις και το marketing ενώ τα τελευταία εννέα χρόνια εργάζομαι ως «Brand Manager» στη μεγαλύτερη εταιρεία αλκοολούχων ποτών στην Κύπρο.

Τι άλλο μου αρέσει; Να διαβάζω βιβλία αλλά και να γράφω. Επίσης λατρεύω τις βόλτες με τη μοτοσυκλέτα μου, αγαπώ την θάλασσα αλλά απολαμβάνω και τις κρύες νύχτες του χειμώνα στο σπίτι, μαζί με τη σύντροφο μου και ένα ποτήρι καλό ουίσκι. Όμως η μεγαλύτερη μου αγάπη είναι τα ταξίδια, και αν και έκανα ήδη αρκετά πάντα θα θέλω περισσότερα.
