Ms. Solisa Maria

Solisa Maria was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Writing has been a passion of hers since 3rd grade. She would go to the public library and enter in the cities reading contest, winning various prizes. That intrigued her to start wanting to write her own novels one day. As her love for reading grew immensely in high school, Solisa and a friend began co-writing short stories together.

As time grew, Solisa wanted to get back to the basics that she once loved dearly. Recently, she felt that something was missing in her life, she wanted to get back to what made her feel safe and comforted; and that was writing. So, she challenged herself to complete her first novel. Solisa says writing gives her a world of hope and fantasy that she can be anyone. She loves to invent herself and bring her characters to life
