Robert Wilson Thomas

Robert WILSON THOMAS is a Welsh, Buddhist, bipolar, diabetic, autistic, former offshore yachtsman and long distance cyclist (in 1982, the first Briton to complete the Tour de France Randonneur) with Functional Neurological Disorder and a GSOH.

His first six books were legal references, then came eleven romantic novels, (a series called 'Four Girls') and a guide to surviving office Christmas parties. His most recent works are biographical memoirs, 'FND - Lessons from a rather full life', and 'Nobody told the bumblebee', about his throat cancer in 2005.

He is a Co-chair, Director and Legal Advisor for FND Hope International, the first global patient led charity and with a mission to support those affected by FND, the most common condition you have probably never heard of, and to raise raise awareness by education and advocacy.

He has lived in rural Ireland since 2001.
