Anthony G. Payne

Dr. Anthony G. Payne began writing in earnest at age nine and while in junior high school sought out mentoring help from famed sci-fi and nonfiction author-writer Dr. Isaac Asimov (who liberally provided tips and pointers to the young writer aspirant). During the ensuing decades Payne penned articles, essays, op-ed pieces, journal papers, reviews, plus four books (Two as coauthor, two as author). He has also ghostwritten and edited book manuscripts, articles, journal papers, essays, op-ed pieces, speeches, video scripts, radio scripts, advertising copy, news releases, product literature and web content A-to-Z for many firms and organizations. This body of work includes having done a great deal of ghostwriting for a handful of well known physicians (MDs and DOs).

Payne is a (Bureau of Indian Affairs CDIB card carrying) American Indian and member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Among Dr. Payne's passions: Writing, of course, spinning ideas (theorist, sometimes philosopher), explorimentation (his term), and sketching & painting.

He is a veganⓋ (for ethical reasons), loves Goth, Steampunk and the artwork of Jackson Pollock.

In addition, Dr. Payne is a full monk in the Knights of Prayer Monastic Order as well as a monk in several other religious communities & monastic organizations which are part of the New Monasticism movement.
