Chris Dortch

Dr. Chris Dortch has served in vocational ministry since 1993 and is the founding pastor of Grace Point Church in Mooresville, North Carolina. A conservative expositional teacher of Scripture, he has authored more than thirty books designed to help believers grow in their understanding of God’s Word.

Dr. Dortch is a graduate of Liberty University, where he earned his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. He holds a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministries and a Doctor of Ministry degree—both from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary—graduating with High Distinction (4.0 GPA).

His doctoral research explored why many young adults disengage from church life and presented six practical solutions addressing three primary categories of contributing factors. Dr. Dortch continues to combine academic rigor with pastoral insight, equipping the church to think deeply, live faithfully, and follow Christ with conviction.
