John A. Meacham

John A. Meacham (aka Jack) is SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus at the University at Buffalo–The State University of New York. He earned degrees at Stanford University and the University of Michigan. Jack initiated the study of prospective memory, a topic in cognitive psychology. He has written articles and chapters on age changes in wisdom, developmental theory, teaching about multiculturalism and diversity, and strengthening undergraduate education. A former Peace Corps volunteer and Fulbright scholar, Jack has been elected a Fellow in the American Psychological Association. He currently lives in Oregon. See also Jack Meacham's Author Page.
