Michael John Bloomfield

Michael John Bloomfield is a Canadian academic living and working in the UK. He is currently Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in International Development at the University of Bath, Research Associate at the University of Oxford, and Senior Research Fellow at the Earth System Governance Project.

His research focuses on global environmental politics, business power, and the political economy of global production.

Prior to his current position, Michael spent three years as Departmental Lecturer in Global Governance at the University of Oxford. He has also taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he completed his PhD in International Relations.
