Scott R. Stahlecker

Scott Stahlecker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion in 1986 and is the author of the novel Blind Guides. A former business owner, he and his wife founded two hospice agencies in Austin and La Grange, Texas. He also owned several music stores in Alaska. As a musician, he worked as a professional drummer and has recorded two personal CDs, Rainforest Dance and a self-titled debut. Picking Wings Off Butterflies shares his personal experiences about raising a child with a traumatic brain injury and was also written to raise awareness about the treatment of special needs individuals within our society and the criminal justice system. He currently resides in the Pacific Northwest continues to write, and welcomes opportunities to assist TBI victims and their caregivers.
