Manjiri Limaye

Manjiri Limaye is the author of the children’s books Witch Tales and A Brush with Colours. The thought of writing her own book first came to her mind when her short story titled ‘The Colour Green’ won her a scholarship to attend a language course in Berlin. She loves writing stories of witches and breaking the stereotype that they are all evil.

Manjiri currently lives in Germany where she teaches German at a language school. When she is not teaching or writing, she loves to read (mostly mystery novels), swim, or try out new recipes. She believes that the purring of a cat is the best sound in the world and can’t wait to have a cat that will give her company when she writes. (She is willing to take the risk that the cat is more likely to distract her from her work).
