Sunn Byrd

Sunn Byrd is a Philadelphia native and earned her B.A. in Internet Marketing from Sanford College. Exploring the journey of entertainment, she was blessed to have the opportunity to grace the stage with her vocal opening up for such artist as Angela Winbush, Tony Terry, singing with The Blue Note, Teddy Pendergrass, as well as being apart of the Pepsi tour with John Legend. Incorporating acting into her repertoire, she has charmed her audience in many phenomenal stage plays including honoring the leading role in the true story of "My Husband John of the legendary Mc Fadden & Whitehead, held at the Kimmel Center. Byrd also appeared in the film "1982" written by Tommy Oliver starring Hill Harper, Sharon Leal, Ruby Dee, and Wayne Brady. Recently, She was also featured in the film "Jason's Letter" written by Terrance Tykeem, starring Vivica A. Fox, Jamol Manigault, Brain Hooks, Joe Gannascoli, Robert Lasardo, and Paul Anthony.

Byrd fell in love with writing and began creating four lovable children's characters in The Player Book Series: "Hiking We Go!, Girls Can Play Boys' Sports Too!, and No Bullying On the Court!" Taking her writing to another level Byrd, penned her fictional novel "Remember Me, Retaliation Unmasked" which is due to be released fall of 2017. Byrd is also a freelance writer, creating press releases, spread sheet, commercial segments, and jingles/theme songs. Today you can find Byrd working on her latest children's book which she is ecstatic about.
