Jonathan Korbecki

Jonathan Korbecki's first novel, The Enemy Mind, was published under the pen name Jonathan David, but in 2016, Korbecki chose to abandon the pen name with the release of Payton Hidden Away, a mystery/thriller exploring best friends, young love and the loss of innocence. In 2018 and then 2021, Korbecki continued the momentum by releasing The Truth Room and Five Phases of Good. However, Korbecki is best known for The Dead Monarch Chronicles, an eight-part dystopian saga blending science-fiction and fantasy in a pre and post-apocalyptic world. The Dead Monarch universe chronicles the tragic events leading up to the third world war, the ramifications and the fallout of mankind's most egregious mistakes, and the decades long struggle to finally end the war and bring absolution to the remaining survivors.

Korbecki credits Jodi Picoult, Chuck Palahniuk, and Jonathan Tropper as his biggest influences. Korbecki continues to work in the Information Technology field while residing in western Michigan.
