Rick Bailey writes about family and friends, home and travel, food and wine, the odd and ordinary in everyday life. He has published four collections of essays, a memoir, and a novel.

His most recent work, Snapshots, is micro memoir, a collection of 50 short narrative pieces. The book is also an invitation for the reader to write, to capture vivid memories, distant and recent, that make up a life. That project has expanded and is taking shape in A Micro Memoir Project.
