Becki Koepke was born and raised on a wheat farm and cattle ranch in Colorado. After graduating from college where she studied agricultural business, she landed a great job in Texas that she planned to stay in for a long time. However, a decision by that company in 2009 changed the path of her life forever. She was laid off, sending her into a time of feeling like she was lost in the wilderness. Since losing her job, life has taken many twists and turns, including pursing her dream of becoming a teacher. Her wilderness time taught her many valuable lessons about trusting God no matter what her external circumstances may be.
Finding God in the Wilderness was born out of the many lessons she learned, and continues to learn, while walking through the wildernesses of her own life. Her desire is for everyone to seek out the fingerprints of God, regardless of what their outward circumstances may be. We should all desire to live our lives like King David and Joseph, who even in their darkest times, still ran toward God.
