Magdalena Edwards is a writer, actor, and translator from Spanish and Portuguese. She is currently a Visiting Scholar at UCLA's Latin American Institute, a Contributing Editor at the Los Angeles Review of Books, and the "Translationships" columnist at Hopscotch Translation. Her translation of Julio Cortázar's LETTERS FROM MOM is forthcoming with Sublunary Editions in 2022. Magdalena's work has appeared in Boston Review, The Paris Review Daily, Los Angeles Review of Books, Words Without Borders, Full Stop, The Point, London Review of Books, The Millions, Rattle, The Critical Flame, Argentina's Revista Transas, Brazil's Jornal O Rascunho, and Chile’s leading newspaper, El Mercurio.
