Mia Thomas is the big sister, wise cousin, and spiritually calming roommate you wish you had before you moved out. Being forever middle-aged , she's old enough to know how to unclog a sink without panicking—but young enough to remember what it felt like to almost set the oven mitt on fire.

Motivated by a deep love for helping others through the messy parts of growing up, Mia writes for young adults stepping into independence for the first time. She’s lived through the trial-and-error stage (more than once), and believes every awkward, overwhelming moment is temporary—and survivable, especially with a little humor and a lot of grace.

Her name? Inspired by a turkey named Mia. It’s a long story. It involves Thanksgiving in a foreign country, and true names being lost in the translation.
