Sacha Lindekens, PhD, is a Partner with Avion Consulting. He specializes in executive coaching and designing and delivering leadership development programs for organizations ranging from large multinational organizations to small to mid-sized family owned entities. His client base is a principally, but not exclusively, in the professional services, financial services, technology/media, and health-care industries. Sacha is a published author on the topic of executive coaching and leadership development and he aspires to fill the role of trusted advisor with his coachees on their learning journey.
Sacha has a particular interest in assisting leaders to deploy emotionally intelligent leadership. He consults with organizations to create robust leadership pipelines; attract, develop and retain millennials; and enable executive teams to achieve their full potential. As a coach, he is known for his genuine tendency of being supportive, yet calling it the way he sees it.
Prior to joining Avion Consulting as an owner in January 2015, Sacha worked at Leadership Research Institute as a consultant for 13 years. Prior to this, Sacha was trained as a psychologist. He worked as a therapist, taught a variety of university level courses, and assisted an NFL team in conducting psychological profiles on incoming rookies to determine their draftability and fit with the organization. Sacha has led teams of consultants and researchers for 20 years. He has a track record of leading in a manner that yields both excellent business results and a strong team dynamic. Sacha holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Florida, an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Albany. He was a recipient of the CLAS Fellowship at the University of Florida. He is certified in the use of a wide array of psychometric assessments.
Sacha is a passionate lover of life. He and his wife Laura, live in Carlsbad, CA with their two daughters. He enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, including surfing, gardening, barbequing, rock hunting, mountain biking and golfing.
