Michael Parrott was born in Concord, California. He grew up in Walnut Creek, California and graduated from Las Lomas High School in 1970. It was during his first week in college at California Polytechnic State University that he came to faith in Jesus Christ. He received a B.S. in Biochemistry there in 1974. He would later attend Western Seminary (1978-1981) and receive the M.Div. in Pastoral Theology. Much later, he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (2007-2010) and finished with a D.Min. in Outreach and Discipleship. He served on CRU High School for 30 years (1974-2004) and published the book Team Huddles in 2000. This book has been used by adults and high school students to impact hundreds for Christ. From 2004-2017 he taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in practical theology at Cedarville University. In January 2017, he founded a new ministry venture called His Heart, My Heart Transformations. He is married to Tracey and they have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
