Anthony Trotta

Dr. Anthony Trotta has studied public administration, public policy, and political science for over 30 years in pursuit of knowledge that would allow for him to better comprehend and appreciate the workings of governance. During that time, he has earned a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University-Camden in 1996, an MPA from Rutgers University-Camden in 2000 and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University-Newark in 2006. In addition, he has extensive university level teaching and course development experience in public administration, public policy and political science (both in the traditional and virtual classroom) at the undergraduate and graduate levels since he began his teaching career in 2002. His teaching and research interests include E-Governance, Public Policy, Political Theory and Public Budgeting. Although primarily serving in a teaching capacity at the university level since 2002, Anthony Trotta also has experience contributing to academic works. This includes serving in the academic journal manuscript review process and in a classroom textbook editorial review capacity. In addition, Anthony’s academic background is supplemented with real-world management experience in the public sector and the private sector. The past 30 years (and counting) serving as a student, teacher and practitioner of public administration, public policy and political science has provided him with an amalgamation of knowledge and insight which was used to complete his books on E-Governance with the Routledge /Taylor and Francis Group. He would like to thank the reader for taking the time to join him on this educational journey that has provided him the opportunity to continue the pursuit of his passion for better understanding modern governance.
