Marti Booker

Marti Booker was born in Yuma, Arizona, in 1974. A second generation "Yuman", she moved to Texas at the age of 17 and has been writing fantasy, science fiction, and horror fiction ever since. (That may not be coincidental.) Her early work was featured in Extremes 5: Fantasy & Horror from the Ends of the Earth, Jackhammer e-zine, and Vestal Review. She took a decade-long break from writing to pursue a career as a registered nurse, as well as raising and homeschooling her six children. A dedicated gamer, passionate reader, and sometime D&D dungeonmaster, she also farms on a small scale and raises waterfowl.
