Elizabeth Whitton

ELIZABETH WHITTON is an award winning author who started telling stories as soon as she could talk. She writes YA and adult fantasy and horror. Her debut novel "Houses of the Old Blood" won the 2018 Aurora Award for Best YA Novel, and her short story "The Calling" was an Aurora finalist. Her works have appeared in several anthologies. She is an active member of the Alberta writing community and is a program manager for the "When Words Collide Festival". Elizabeth lives with her husband and daughter in Calgary, Alberta, an hour's drive from the majestic Rocky Mountains. She is happiest pounding on her laptop after midnight while listening to alt rock and ignoring pleas from her family to go to bed.
