Robin Williams Evans is originally from the Los Angeles, California, area. She
attended California State University Long Beach, where she majored in business
administration with a concentration in marketing. In 1998, Robin heard
a call from God to enter into ministry. She received her master’s in divinity
from Howard University School of Divinity in 2004 and was ordained
in 2010. Robin served as an associate minister for twelve years at Riverside
Baptist Church of Southwest Washington, DC.
Robin is the founder and director of A Pastor’s Place (www.apastorsplace.
org), a not-for-profit organization that specializes in spiritual, emotional, and
physical health and wellness for clergy and church congregations and
special-needs advocacy.
She is a firm believer in post-traumatic growth and its tremendous ability
to take crises and turn them into firm foundations that transform people into
their best selves. Robin is a wife and the mother of a severely special-needs son.
