John describes himself as "being dragged up in Littleport", so is a Fen boy. He claims his greatest attribute at school was his ability to daydream exciting adventures. His philosophy on life, "we only get one shot at it, grab it with both hands and go for it!"
After a commercial career that took him around the world to live in Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. He now calls Perth, Australia home. His writing career began with technical and training manuals, later finding greater satisfaction in more creative writing. In Australia he was a regular contributor to radio and wrote a weekly newspaper column. His first book, "Raising Fen Tigers," is a tongue in cheek look at growing up in a Fenland village. (Littleport). "I Will Find You" is his first novel and is to become a film. His next book "Lost in Time" is receiving great acclaim and five star reviews. He lives in with his wife, Elisabeth, of 49 years. He had three children but sadly lost his youngest son, to whom "I Will Find You" is dedicated.
