Michelle Sabrena Alexander, is an advocate against child sexual abuse. She has partnered with a number of nonprofit organisations, such as Heal With Hope Foundation and GCSCORED Caribbean (Global Centre for School Counseling Outcome Research Evaluation and Development), fighting against child sexual abuse and in providing support and encouragement to victims, in an effort to bring about healing and restoration.
Being a survivor of child sexual abuse, Michelle is committed in removing the cloak of silence and the stigma attached to this dreaded plague, and in being a beacon of hope and an inspiration to people everywhere.
Her call is to parents, teachers, caregivers, policy makers and citizens on a whole, to play a greater role in protecting the lives and interests of our children, and in creating happy and safe environments for their growth and development.
Michelle is employed as a project liaison officer with the Ministry of Social Development and Housing in Grenada.
