Pauline Dimech

Pauline Dimech was born in Malta in 1963. Having finished a degree in Education, she started teaching at a local Primary school. During the same year (1982), she became a member of the Society of Christian Doctrine. Her experience instilled in her an interest in the religious formation of children, the ministry of the Church towards young people, and the training of catechists. Dimech is also a systematic theologian, a spiritual director, and a public speaker. She holds degrees in Religious studies and in Systematic Theology from the University of Malta, the University of London, and Durham University, UK. She is currently a Lecturer within the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of Education at the University of Malta.
