Barry Watts

Barry Watts is an Australian-born writer living on Port Phillip Bay, south of Melbourne, Victoria. His first traditionally-published book appeared in 1975, and has been followed by several others for both children and adults. He studied at LaTrobe University, Melbourne as a mature-age student and graduated B.Ed.

After retiring from a career in publishing and teaching, he founded an online bookselling business with his partner ('Pegasus Book Orphanage'), and spends all his spare time slaving over his keyboard, spoiling his cats, and avoiding gardening.
