M. Therese Lysaught

M. Therese Lysaught, PhD, is Professor at the Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics and Health Care Leadership, Loyola University Chicago. She has recently been appointed to the Pontifical Academy for Life.

For almost three decades, Therese has been working to deepen theological engagement with moral theology, medicine, and medical ethics. Her books--collaborative endeavors fostering collegial conversations on critical questions--seek to make clear why theology matters for how we think, how we live, and what it means for Catholic institutions and those people who aspire to be called Christians.
