Ayame Chiba

Ayame Chiba is a lifelong Kyoto resident and was indoctrinated into Kaiju-dou ("The Way of the Kaiju") by her awesome father at an early age. Gamera became her hero at age four while watching him play his theme song on Zigra's fins at the theater in 1971. She has written several articles for G-Fan magazine, most notably "The Japanese Mythology behind Gamera 3". Currently a member of the 'Kaijyo' (Kaiju Girls, a circle of giant monster fans in Kyoto), she practices pediatrics and continues to work on developing anti-nuclear bacteria...because you just never know.
