Emma Davies

Do you know someone with a big camera who is baffled by the settings, nervous of changing anything and disappointed with most photos they take? That is the person Emma can turn into a confident photographer, not afraid to shoot in public, in control of their camera and proud of the photos they take.

Emma is the champion of the complete beginner photographer. The photographer who has tried weekend classes, night classes, online classes and still doesn't understand how their camera works. She breaks it down, step by step, one lesson at a time, so you barely realise you're learning.

Brought up on I-Spy books, her photography books are full of things to collect, small tasks to complete, and checklists to finish.

She is a UK based travel and garden photographer, finalist in the Travel Photographer of the Year competition, shortlisted in the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition, published by The Telegraph, Gardens Illustrated, and the BBC. She has taught at The National Trust, and is staff photographer for The British Flowers Book.
