Fred F. Taylor

“bE hERE…bE nOW”, is one of the mantras that Fred Fernandez Taylor lives by. He is a graduate of Miami Northwestern Sr. High School class of 1973. After graduating he enlisted in the United States Airforce, and received an honorable discharge in 1977. Upon his discharge, he was hired by the Miami Dade County Corrections & Rehabilitation Department where he attained the rank of Sergeant. He retired from the Miami Dade County Corrections & Rehabilitation Department in 2007 after serving for 30 years. Fred is a resident of Miami Gardens, Florida. Along with his beloved wife, Roberta (deceased), he raised and is the father of two adult sons, Fred Fernandez Taylor, II and Daniel Darnell Taylor. With strong family support, he served fifteen years as the Pastor of the church of his youth, Faith Temple Church of Christ, Inc. Fred is a graduate of Klemmer Leadership and Development. He partnered with Klemmer and Associates to help build homes in Tijuana, Mexico and with charitywater.org and Water.org to help fund digging fresh water wells in third world countries. Reading, Writing, Inspiring others and long walks in the wilderness are enjoyment for this admirer of nature.
