Ishbel MacDonald Duncan

Ishbel Duncan is a graduate of the University of St Andrews and a member of academic staff. She lived and worked in Durham, Sydney and Cambridge before returning to Scotland and her alma mater where she is a lecturer in Computer Science.

When her daughter started at the University to study medicine she started to write a guide to St Andrews which grew into a tour guide. Versions are in use by students and University conferences. The 2017 edition is the largest and newest version and includes information on local walks, parking and shopping as well as over 100 pages on local history useful for visitors.
