A writer throughout her career, Laurel built and managed a communications department of the largest international human resource consulting firm and within three years, was promoted to the first woman partner in the office. She later started her own successful consulting firm.

Laurel’s first published works were for Dungeons and Dragons. Several of those early game modules and books are considered collector’s items today. Following up on her fantasy success, she wrote four fantasy novels - The Magick trilogy and Daytime Vampire.

Currently. Laurel is published in CrimeBits by Lee Child who personally selected the best 100 crime openings for his latest book. CrimeBits is available in hardback and paperback, both in the UK (at Waterstones) and in the US (Barnes and Noble).

After being selected by Lee Child for his book, Laurel wrote her newest murder mystery, Because I Remember.

Laurel and her husband currently reside in Southern California.
