Tomeka Walker Ewing

Tomeka Walker Ewing has been a storyteller since childhood, writing short stories long before she understood that her words would one day carry purpose beyond the page. Over time, life revealed that some stories are not meant to be hidden, they are meant to be shared with the world.

Her debut novel, Geneva’s Truth, is loosely based on real-life experiences and was written through lived and learned lessons. It was her sacrifice; a courageous act of vulnerability meant to empower others navigating love, loss, forgiveness, and the pursuit of truth. Through Geneva’s journey, readers are invited to confront pain and discover strength through honesty and faith.

Her sequel, Geneva Rises, represents a powerful evolution. It is her offering to the world, written not through pain, but through purpose; affirming that healing is possible and rising is inevitable.

Tomeka writes to remind others that their stories matter and that even from the ashes, there is always a rise.
